Field work in the Zoo d'Upie - Jardin des Oiseaux

After a first visit with highly promising results, the team Avineck works again at the Zoo d'Upie - le Jardin des Oiseaux in order to collect some more data on the biomechanics of parrts.

Parrots are very skillful climbers, but we still lack a detailed understanding of the biomechanics of their neck during this kind of locomotion. Preliminary quantitative data provided highly interesting insights into the kinematics of the suspended locomotion. In order to complete our data set the Avineck team visited again our collaborators at the zoo Upie Jardin des Oiseaux.
